I was happy to have the Homework Club and Summer Camp. They helped me get the top exam results in SMHS so far. I want to be a Doctor so I've enrolled on a Pre-Medicine course. I'm very grateful to SMHS.

I joined the Nursery class and have been studying in the Swiss Model High School since 2012. My father is a tailor and my mother works as a maid.
I love my school as it has given me many opportunities to grow and develop myself. I like to participate in all the extracurricular activities, such as the debates and sports day.
Thank you, this is all because of you.”

Over the years the school has added 2 new water dispensers and an electric water cooler. These provide cold clean drinking water to all the staff and students in this scorching heat. Many social, political and economic factors contribute to 50% of Pakistan’s population being illiterate. Whilst the government is addressing this, it will take time to for the nation’s children to reap the benefit. Let’s do what we can now by supporting the SMHS.
A Kindergarten class is learning all about colours & today’s colour is yellow. Active participation in learning improves information retention and more importantly, makes learning fun. Despite limited resources, our teachers excel at finding simple creative methods to engage the little ones.
After the winter holidays the homework club resumed from 3rd January, 2018. Miss Faiza Zahid will be taking the Homework club in January and February. With the final exams approaching in February we will encourage the slow learners to attend the club so that they can get assistance in their homework and other school work.
It was the first time that SMHS saw an event of such magnitude. It was well planned and well organised. A lot of effort and attention minute details was paid in order to make it colourful, festive celebration. The ground was beautifully decorated with balloons and buntings as well as food and game stalls. But the centre of attraction were […]
A two day teacher training on “Teaching Methodologies & Activity Based Teaching of Science” was organised on 25th & 26th July. We had specially chosen Science subjects as this was the subject that our children were not performing so well in. It was basically a refresher course for the teachers and it helped to reinforce and revise their previous knowledge. […]

A dental camp was organised on Wednesday 22nd March, 2017. A Team of 18 dentists visited the school and did a general check up of the students and staff. We are very thankful to Usba’s Alumni Group “Class of 87”, for organising this camp. The general concern was that there were a certain percentage of children whose teeth brushing habits […]
The 2016 SMHS Day was celebrated with the usual fervour and enthusiasm. Arrangements for the program were made on the roof top. Due to the excessive heat the program was scheduled early in the morning. The school management ensured that there were ample pedestal fans to keep away the heat. The program was short, well planned and well organised. The […]
