The child has one intuitive aim: self development

Dental Camp

A dental camp was organised on Wednesday 22nd March, 2017. A Team of 18 dentists visited the school and did a general check up of the students and staff. We are very thankful to Usba’s Alumni Group “Class of 87”, for organising this camp. The general concern was that there were a certain percentage of children whose teeth brushing habits needed to be improved. A lot of children are also in the habit of eating supari which is harmful for their teeth. Many children from an area near the school suffer from fluorosis ( excess of fluoride) which damages the teeth enamel.  Children with cavities and others dental issues that require specialised help, were referred to LMDC & Fatima Memorial Trust hospital. Both are teaching hospitals where the treatment charges are subsidised.
