More than just a school

"The teachers at SMHS are like my parents. They understand the challenges we face so teach,
help and guide us with a lot of love and patience. The school's many extracurricular activities
help develop our confidence and the school trips provide us with an opportunity to enjoy and
learn at the same time. "

Shazina

I was happy to have the Homework Club and Summer Camp. They helped me get the top exam results in SMHS so far. I want to be a Doctor so I've enrolled on a Pre-Medicine course.  I'm very grateful to SMHS.

I joined the Nursery class and have been studying in the Swiss Model High School since 2012. My father is a tailor and my mother works as a maid.

I love my school as it has given me many opportunities to grow and develop myself. I like to participate in all the extracurricular activities, such as the debates and sports day.

Thank you, this is all because of you.”

What the Board members all share is a deep felt belief that education is an universal right for all.  The passion behind this ensures the sustainability of the school to support students and teachers alike. All contribute time voluntarily to their duties of financial, operational and pedagogic oversight of the SEPP Association and the school.

The association is audited annually and subject to Swiss regulations governing Non-profit organisations.

Freeha Irshad

Vice President

Being part of SEPP is an amazing opportunity to empower less privileged children to reap the benefits that education can offer in shaping their own personal future.  Education is a means to end the cycle of poverty, because it opens up more opportunities to have a better standard of living. I believe that an educated child can better influence and shape the future of a country in every respect

Children are the future. They require knowledge in order to face the global challenges facing the world. This is of particular importance for the poor as they are being affected most directly by this change. SEPP is a great way for me to make a difference.
